My debut single ‘LIVE THE DAY’, released 10th March and has made a big impact! So much so that i am now in the process of releasing my second single! Woohoo!

First of all a big big thank you to everyone who bought the single and supported me along the way! We had a fantastic team in place working on it, and we’ll be doing the same and even more with my next track! Cannot wait!!!

A big thank you to Reprezent Radio who heavily supported the track too and had me in for a lovely interview and games! I sang an a-capella version of Live The Day live on air too… If you didn’t get chance to tune in, you can here it by clicking on the Reprezent logo below…

So we’re now moving on to my second single called Believe In Me…

The song is a track i wrote with a brilliant producer called Drifta It’s about wanting faith and support from someone but not getting it. It’s quite an emotional song but with a really cool dub-step style edge to it! It’s one of my favourite tracks of my own and quite personal to me as i wrote it last year venting out some troubles i was having at the time…

I filmed the video last week in London and we’re expecting it back any day now… We have a brilliant drum n bass remix from Drifta, and a edgy trance remix from Exist! Promotion kicks off from two weeks! Ahhhh!

I came up with idea of doing my own blog at the end of 2012…

I wanted a way of showing my personality outside my music. A lot of people only know me as a singer/ songwriter, but i actually have a lot of other interests outside that.

Music is my life. But i also have a very keen interest for fashion and photography, and i love London, and days and nights out in the UK in general. With the olympics last year, it really gave me and so many other people in our country a new found appreciation for our country and i wanted to put my views on the best of the UK into my own blog…

Peppered Blog is all about fashion and music and the UK. I will be showcases all the hidden bits that people miss, the boutiques around London, the hidden gem nightspots, up and coming fashion designers and up and coming UK artists and performers.

Happy New Year everyone!!!

Hope you all had a fantastic christmas and new year! Ate lots, drank lots, and made some fantastic memories!
I started work again from the 3rd Jan and haven’t stopped! Hence why i’m only just writing this now…

So… 2013 is all about LIVE THE DAY!

Promotion starts next week and the release date has been confirmed at 10th March 2013!!!

This year everything is going to be 10 times bigger and better than last year!
A few of the things i will be introducing this year are:

PEPPERED BLOG- I have now got my own new blog site, going live in a couple of weeks, which is going to be entirely dedicated to fashion, music and the UK! Check back to find out when it’s going live!

YOUTUBE- I will be uploading fortnightly live videos of acoustic versions of my own tracks and few cool covers too… The first one is revealed here!!! But… You will have to wait a little while to hear it live hehe!

The last new thing is that finally -it’s only taken me a year haha, i have sent my first mailing list newsletter! And i will be sending regular newsletters from now on every month, sometimes more…

Ok guys a lot of stuffs happening now, things are starting to pick up very quickly!!! EEEEK!!!

1.) Firstly, my debut single Live The Day is going to be released early 2013!!! End of Feb, date TBC… Sooooo exciting!!! This is my first ever release on my own! We have the video ready to go, and online, radio and video pluggers ready to go too!
I will be revealing pre- order details very soon!!!

2.) In conjunction with the release, i am looking for up and coming producers to remix the single. We will be distributing the single to clubs in Jan 2013 and need remixes to go with the original!
So i am holding a remix competition!!!
COMPETITION!
If you are a producer, (professional, experienced or amateur)
Get in touch and i will send you the vocal files to remix Live The Day. We are looking for all styles! All remixes will be posted online for fans to vote for the best one. And the best remixes will be distributed with the main single!!! If you’re interested contact me at contact@kellypepper.co.uk

3.) I have a band!!! Ahhhh, i have never performed with a band before… Last month i held auditions for band members and had a fantastic turn out with over 50 applications! I chose 1 drummer, 1 bassist and 1 guitarist, and we started rehearsals two weeks ago!!!
My first gigs with the band start in January, details, times and venues to be confirmed. But my first gigs are on:
-5th Jan
-12th Jan
-31st Jan
All in Central London. So put these dates in your diaries!!!

4.) Lastly, online stuff!
My site is currently in the process of being slightly redesigned, so check back to see the new look in the next month or so! Everyone loves a make over! Wooo!
And finally, i am very excited to announce i have a blog website currently in the making! I will be posting regularly about all the latest fashion trends, talking to various celebrities, designers and influential people, and will be reviewing all of London’s newest hotspots! Hey guys,

Sorry i haven’t had time to write an update recently, been maddddd busy!!!

We have filmed the video for Live The Day and have the artwork and all the promotion in place ready to go, however we have decided to wait to release in early 2013 and wait for the xmas rush to brush past… So just hold on a little bit longer guys!!

I had so much fun filming the video for Live The Day! It’s the first video or photo shoot i’ve actually done in the summer, so it was nice to not be freezing for a change haha!

The song is about every day life and how we shouldn’t look back with regret and worry about our pasts, that we should look to the future and focus on the good things, as life is short!
Because of it’s meaning, i decided i wanted the video to be simple and very natural, capturing the everyday life aspect of the song! So there’s lots of shots of me walking around London as i do most days! (I love London <3)
